An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit an area in Azerbaijan's Imishli district on approximately 08:47 (local Baku time, GMT+4), Azerbaijan's Seismology Center said.
Meanwhile, the earthquake was also felt in Iran's city of Parsabad, Trend reports.
The governor of Parsabad, Akbar Samadisaid that a 62-year old man died from a heart attack during the tremors. He added that two more people got injured.
