Airport administrators in Egypt's Hurghada will reserve the entire second passenger terminal exclusively for Russian tourist flights, Egypt's Youm7 daily reported, citing airport sources.
"The airport administration, after negotiations with the minister of civil aviation and ministry leadership, opted for the second building known as the 'old airport', to send and receive Russian tourists," Sputnik cited the source as saying.
The source said Hurghada expects first regular flights with Russian tourists to begin next month, with charter flights from Russia in November after receiving "confirmation."
The decision came following a request lodged by the Russian airport safety delegation to allot one of two Hurghada International Airport terminals to Russian tourists, according to the newspaper.
