Rescue workers have found the eighth body at the site of a collapsed apartment block in Russia's Magnitogorsk, a source in the emergency headquarters said.
"We have found the eighth body, but it has not been pulled out of the rubble yet. We don’t know who it is but it is an adult, not a child," TASS cited the source as saying.
A section of a ten-storey apartment block collapsed in Magnitogorsk on December 31 at 04:00 am Moscow time. The Russian Investigative Committee views a household gas explosion as the main cause of the accident. A total of 37 people are still unaccounted for. Dozens of people have been evacuated from the building.
