Electricity prices for socially unsecured categories of consumers will be reduced in Armenia, the press office of Tashir Group reported.
"After negotiating with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Tashir Group has decided to lower the price by 10 drams per one KWh for socially unsecured people who consume less than 250 KWh a month," the statement says.
According to the press release, the difference will be subsidized by Tashir Group.
In accordance with the Public Services Regulatory Commission’s decision, the electric power price for Armenia’s population was lowered from 46.2 drams to 44.98 drams per one KWh, ARKA reported.
"For socially unsecured consumers the following prices were set: 40 drams for daytime consumption and 30 drams for nighttime consumption," the company says in its press release.
