Today is the eleventh day of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Athletes will compete for 25 medal sets: boxing, cycling, rowing and canoeing, athletics, open water swimming, diving, gymnastics, sailing, synchronized swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, wrestling, women's volleyball and handball.
Russia's synchronized swimming duet of Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina will compete in free routine.Russian canoeist Ilya Shtokalov will compete in the men's canoe single 1000m and Russian Roman Anoshkin will compete in the men's kayak single 1000m. Russian Elena Anyshina and Kira Stepanova will compete in the women's kayak double 200m.
Evgeny Drattsev will represent Russia in 10 km open water race.
The semifinals in 3 m springboard will begin at 16.00 Moscow Time and the final in 00:00 Moscow Time. Russia will be represented by Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Zakharov.
In the parallel bars final Russia will be represented only by David Belyavskiy. Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Islambek Albiev will fight in the final round Ion Panait from Romania in the weight category under 66 kg, another Russain wrestler Islam Magomedov will fight in the final round an Estonian Greco-Roman wrestler Ardo Arusaar in the weight category under 98 kg.
Russian Darya Klishina will perform in the women's long jump qualifying round, TASS reports.
Anastasia Voynova will represent Russia in the women's team sprint final.
Russian boxer Vladimir Nikitin will fight in elimination round an Irish amateur boxer Michael Conlan in the weight category under 56 kg. Russian Vitaly Dunaytsev (64kg) will fight a Chinese boxer Hu Qianxun in the elimination round.
Russian women's national handball team will play against Angola at 02:30 MSK. Russian Women's volleyball team will play against Serbia at 00:00 MSK.
Russians beach volleyball players Vyacheslav Krasilnikov and Konstantin Semenov will play against Italians Daniele Lupo and Paolo Nicolai in the semifinal round.
