Before the summit of the 'Big Twenty' (G20) in Antalya, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the assistance of financial sector representatives in a settlement of the problem of poverty could contribute to countering terrorism.
"Can the financial sector help solve this problem, should it help? Does it have the opportunity to address these issues (with terrorists)? If those people who run the financial sector, if they lent a helping hand to solve these problems it would be very right," RIA Novosti quotes the Turkish President as saying.
