The evening dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the outstanding Georgian theater and film actor Tengiz Archvadze will be held at the Art Center in Tbilisi today.
Dmitry Gvitisiashvili's book titled 'People's Artist Tengiz Archvadze' will be also presented there.
According to the country's Culture Ministry, the head of the department Mikhail Giorgadze will award Tengiz Archvadze for his exceptional contribution to the development of Georgia's culture.
The actor of theater and cinema, People's Artist of the Georgian SSR (1979) Tengiz Archvadze was born on August 3, 1932 in Tbilisi. In 1955 he graduated from the acting department of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University.
