Facebook is going to help the UN to provide refugee camps with internet access, the founder and CEO of the company Mark Zuckerberg reported today.
In his view, the Internet is a prerequisite for observance of human rights.
At the same time, Zuckerberg stressed that this step will help to attract new users to the social network and is not a manifestation of altruism. "We all win when we are more connected," RIA Novosti quotes the head of Facebook as saying.
