A fire has broken out at Abu Dhabi Plaza in Astana, which is the third fire at the building this year, the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan said.
Rescuers were informed about the fire at 00:43 local time (21:43 MSK).
According to firefighters, mineral wool at minus second floor was burning. The fire covered 50 thousand square meters.
The fire was localized at 01:16 am and extinguished at 03:25 am (00:25 MSK). 41 people and 10 vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire. The cause of the fire is to be established.
After the construction the building will be the tallest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
