A massive fire that engulfed three factories in Istanbul's European side in the early hours of this morning has been contained, according to a statement from the governor's office.
The blaze started at an open pallet storage area in Esenyurt district, spreading to the three factories nearby.
Nearly 200 firefighters from surrounding districts were dispatched to the scene. The Fire Department has said the fire is now under control, Anadolu Agency reported.
The governor's office said that there were no casualties. The cause of the fire was yet unknown.
