A fire has broken out at the Diglas shopping mall in Baku's Nizami district today.
Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Ministry said that employees of the Diglas trade center had been evacuated.
Firefighters are trying to extinguish the blaze, two helicopters have been dispatched to the site to help tackle the fire, RFE/RL reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
The country's Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov, Deputy Interior Minister Oruj Zalov and head of the Executive Authority of the Nizami District Arif Gasimov arrived at the site of the fire.
