The Monte Toledo oil tanker covered the uneventful voyage from Iran to Europe with a haul of 1 million barrels of crude in just 17 days, Bloomberg reports.
On Sunday, the tanker became the first to deliver Iranian crude into Europe since 2012, the ban was lifted on January 16 this year, TASS reports.
According to the agency, the 275-meter tanker started offloading its cargo into a refinery owned by Cepsa near Algeciras.
