The first tanker with Iranian oil, chartered by Litasco, has departed from Iran's loading terminal at Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf for Europe, Bloomberg reported.
According to the agency, the tanker, which can hold 1 million barrels of oil, was indicated as full.
In addition, vessels for French, Spanish and Chinese companies will be loaded in the coming hours.
According to Bloomberg, LUKOIL and the Spanish refiner Compania Espanola de Petroleos agreed in January to transport crude oil from Iran to European ports, RIA Novosti reports.
