The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu within the framework of the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting.
“The ministers reaffirmed the strategic partnership and close cooperation between the two countries, including in international energy and transit projects. They also discussed the importance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project," the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
Cavusoglu supported Georgia in its European and Euro-Atlantic integration, Trend reports.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili is participating in the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting in Brussels, Belgium on December 1-2.
