The former German foreign minister, ex-chairman of the Free Democratic Party, Hans-Dietrich Genscher, died at the age of 89 of a cardiovascular disease, TASS reports with reference to the office of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs in Bonn.
Hans-Dietrich Genscher was Germany’s longest-serving foreign minister from 1974 to 1992.
