The G20 mulls readiness to allocate $1.28 bln to a fund to prepare for future pandemics, the Minister of Finance of Indonesia, Sri Mulyani Indrawati said, following a two-day meeting of the heads of the Finance Ministries and the Central Banks of the G20 countries.
According to her, the money is planned to be transferred to the fund, which is planned to be launched this year.
"We will continue to discuss the management of this fund, as well as the next steps, and I hope that it will be launched this year," TASS quotes Indrawati as saying.
