Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili will name the candidate for the post of the interior minister in the next two or three days.
This post is vacant due to the fact that acting Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, was presented as the head of the State Security Service.
The government will consider and submit his candidacy to the Parliament for approval in five days, Sputnik Georgia reports.
