Georgia and Portugal have agreed on cooperation in the field of circular migration, according to the website of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The agreement was reached during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Portugal, David Zalkaliani and Augusto Santos Silva, in Lisbon.
The Portuguese side expressed readiness to cooperate with Georgia in the legal employment of Georgian citizens. Georgian delegation will visit Portugal in the near future to determine the further steps of cooperation, Georgia Today reported.
The Georgian minister noted that the advancement of the cooperation in the field of circular migration in the EU member states is a priority for Georgia.
