On Saturday, a grand opening of a new seaport in the city of Poti took place in Georgia. The harbour was built by the Georgian Pace Group corporation in cooperation with the US International Development Finance Corporation.
"Today is a really great day. Since 2020, Pace Group has been engaged in the large-scale construction of the Poti harbour, which is an extremely important project for the region. The total amount of investment already made is $93 mln, after the completion of the 2nd phase, it will reach $120 mln,” the prime minister, Irakli Garibashvili, said at the opening ceremony.
