A sharp decline in the birth rate is expected in Georgia next year, the chairman of the demographic revival Fund Tamara Chiburdanidze said.
"In 2017 fertility will decline by rwice, as 445,000 thousand girls were born in Georgia from 1980 to 1990, and 225,000 from 1990 to 2000, News-Georgia cites her as saying.
