The Georgian opposition has started collecting signatures in order to change the electoral system of the country. Their main demand is that the parliamentary elections in 2016 only be held under the proportional system.

In total, they need 200 thousand signatures by the end of this year to start the process of amending the Constitution.

A collection of signatures was organized in Tbilisi near the Akhmeteli metro station, and in Kutaisi (West Georgia) in front of the City Mayor’s office.
