Georgia to launch production of Belarusian lifts

Georgia’s Economy Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi discussed commercial-economic relations of Georgia and Belarus at the meeting in Tbilisi.

At the meeting Kumsishvili talked about the current economic situation in Georgia and the Government’s four-point reform agenda that aims to further improve the environment of the country.

The meeting also focused on joint projects, including the importation and installation of lifts produced in Belarus and the prospect of producing lifts in Georgia as well, Agenda.ge reported.

Kumsishvili and Rusyi positively assessed the work of a recently established trade-economic group the results of which are already reflected by positive economic indicators, announced Georgia's Ministry of Economy.
