 Georgian President imposes veto on changes to law on Constitutional Court

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has vetoed a series of changes to the Constitutional Court of Georgia, approved by the Parliament on May 14.

The President said he had prepared "motivated remarks” and sent them to Parliament for further discussion. Margvelashvili added he was confident of the Prime Minister and Parliament’s "constructive work” and believed a consensus would be achieved about the bill, Agenda.ge reports.
