Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili pardoned 91 prisoners, including four women, the head of the President’s Pardon Commission Zviad Koridze said.
He added that 62 inmates were released from prison today while the remaining 29 had their prison terms commuted, Agenda.ge reported.
The last pardon was made in March of 2017, when 157 individuals were pardoned. Of these, 93 were released and 64 received commuted sentences.
