Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has signed a decree to pardon 168 prisoners, six of them are women, the chairman of the presidential commission for pardons, Zviad Koridze, said.
According to him, he presidential decree allows 114 people to leave penitentiaries and reduces the terms of another 54 inmates, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
In total, the presidential commission for pardons examined cases of 1095 convicted and sent its recommendations to Margvelashvili.
