Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev will participate in the summit of Turkic speaking countries, which will take place on September 11 in Astana, Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov said.
Idrissov also said that Turkey will be represented by its top officials at the conference. "President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will not join the event for objective reasons," Kazakh Foreign Minister added.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Astana will hold events to commemorate the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate on September 11-13.
