Tehran and the IAEA have a better understanding to resolve the contentious issues of the Iranian nuclear dossier, IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said.
"I believe that both sides have a better understanding on some ways forward, though more work will be needed," TASS cited him as saying.
"We also discussed the progress of negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 to develop a comprehensive plan of joint actions and the issues of verification activities of the agency in the context of such an agreement," Amano said.
"The purpose of the visit was to advance work towards the resolution of all outstanding issues regarding Iran's nuclear program, including clarification of possible military dimensions," the head of the IAEA said.
