Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the vice presidents of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Giorgi Tsereteli and Kent Harstedt, which includes the OSCE PA Secretary-General Roberto Montella.
Giorgi Tsereteli noted with regret that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s President, Ilkka Kanerva, was unable to visit Baku. He stressed that Azerbaijan is a priority for the organization. The Deputy Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly noted the importance of cooperation with Azerbaijan and expressed his gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for Azerbaijan's participation in the projects carried out by the OSCE. Tsereteli also noted his organization's intention to elevate their cooperation to a new level in the spirit of constructiveness.
The Azerbaijani President expressed hope that the visit of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Vice-President will be fruitful and beneficial, Trend reports.
