A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has begun a visit to Azerbaijan. During the visit they will examine the conditions that the election campaign is operating under and the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan.
The PACE delegation is expected to meet Azerbaijan’s parliamentary speaker Ogtay Asadov, the leaders of the political parties, heads of opposition parties, the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Mazahir Panahov, as well as media representatives, Trend reports.
