A joint army and police committee will be created in Iran to strengthen security measures along the state borders, Iran's Defense Minister Amir Hatami said.
According to him, the Defense Ministry and the police agreed to form a committee to develop plans to strengthen border control. At the same time, he stressed that the department will offer assistance to the police, providing unmanned vehicles, radars and optical military equipment, Iran.ru reported.
