Iranian cars will be produced in Azerbaijan under local names, the chairman of board of AzerMash OJSC Emin Akhundov said.
"First and foremost, the motor plant will assemble cars Dena, Runna, Soren and Samand, but the names of vehicles will be altered. This means that cars will be produced under the Azerbaijani national brand, not under the Iranian one," abc.az cited Akhmatov as saying.
He added that the names of the models have not been specified yet.
