Iranian pilgrims won't perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mohsen Pakayin, said that this year Muslim countries will refuse to send pilgrims to perform the Hajj in Mecca and Medina, or reduce the number of pilgrims until Saudi Arabia provides safety guarantees.

"We have submitted a 17-point-proposal to Saudi Arabia on safety guarantees to our pilgrims, but Riyadh refused to comply with them. Moreover, they refused to be responsible for the tragedy that took place last year," he said at today's press conference in Baku.
