Delegations from Tel Aviv and Damascus held consultations in the French capital, mediated by the United States, as reported by the Israeli channel N12.

According to media reports, the sides agreed to intensify contacts and increase the frequency of meetings to finalize a security deal.
The talks were reportedly overseen by US Special Representative for Syria Tom Barrack, Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff, and former senior advisor Jared Kushner.
