Istanbul hit by heavy storm

A heavy storm led to the flooding of a number of offices in Istanbul's Beylikduzu district.

In addition, a canal was flooded in the city's Arnavutkoy district, as a result of which, six people were evacuated.

According to the Turkish media, a freighter ran aground on the shore of Istanbul's Shile district due to the storm.

Earlier sea voyages were cancelled due to strong winds in Istanbul.
