Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said the sanctions on Russia were not an end in themselves, calling them a temporary measure
"Italy is working on creating conditions for overcoming this state of relations between Italy and Russia, the European Union and Russia," Sputnik cited the Italian PM as saying.
Conte added that this state of relations is not beneficial for anyone, noting that Rome would continue working to create the conditions to lift economic sanctions.
