Kazakh figure skater becomes first woman to land a quad at official senior competitions

Kazakhstan's figure skater Elizabet Tursynbaeva became the first woman to land a quadruple jump in a senior international competition.

Tursynbaeva took the silver in ladies singles competition at the 2019 ISU World Championship in Japan’s Saitama with the result of 224.76 points.

Russia’s Alina Zagitova won gold with 237.50 points and the bronze went to Russia’s Yevgeniya Medvedeva with 223.80 points.
