Kazakhstan has lifted restrictions on the import and sale of a number of food products from Russia. According to the press service of the Committee on Consumer Protection of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, the tests have shown that these Russian companies met all the requirements.
As a result of inspections conducted jointly with specialists of Rospotrebnadzor and heads of enterprises, measures to ensure the Kazakh market with products that comply with the requirements of normative legal acts, hygiene standards and technical regulations were discussed, RIA Novosti reports.
On September 8, the Committee introduced a temporary ban on the import and sale of food products of some Kyrgyz and Russian producers by food surveillance agents of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
