Chairman of the Georgian parliament Irakli Kobakhidze has started his official visit to Azerbaijan. According to the Georgian parliament's press service, the visit will last till June 22.
First deputy chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov and other officials welcomed Kobakhidze at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were flying, AzerTAc reported.
During the visit, Kobakhidze is expected to meet with Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, President Ilham Aliyev, and Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov.
