Only highly qualified specialists should deal with the prevention of extremism, the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Yury Kokov, said at the meeting of the Council under the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia in the North Caucasus Federal District.
"Analysis of the current situation in the field of prevention of extremism suggests the need for a significant increase in the information and ideological work. However, this task requires highly trained staff, which is clearly not enough," he said.
According to Kokov, "not only our region is faced with a similar problem". He added that "currently, the spread of the ideology of extremism is primarily associated with the increased capabilities of the Internet."
