Russia is the only state which offers a clear way of combating terrorism, the Chairman of Russia’s Federation Council International Affairs Committee, Konstantin Kosachev, said at the meeting of the upper house of the Russian parliament.
"We have shown that Russia is not a threat, but a source of solutions demanded by the world community," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
According to the senator, the terrorists were able to unite "under IS banner" largely because of the lack of unity among the leading nations of the world.
