The chairman of the Federation Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Konstantin Kosachev, has commented on the sanctions imposed by Ukraine on his Facebook page. He described them as 'another stupidity' of official Kiev.
According to Kosachev, "the president's mission is to solve problems, rather than take great offense." "All the sanctions are a dead end. We cannot solve anything using sanctions, and in such situations they only aggravate the problem," the senator stressed.
The Ukrainian authorities are responsible for all their troubles, they again "choose escalation of emotions and actions instead of reconciliation and harmony," the chairman of the Federation Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee said.
