Russia's presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin is monitoring developments on the fuel market.
"Appropriate expert teams of the Administration of the Russian President are closely monitoring the situation on the fuel market; certainly, in interaction with the Cabinet of ministers," TASS cited him as saying.
Commenting on the letter of Chief Executive Officer of the Russian oil producer Rosneft Igor Sechin to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, where the top manager noted downsides in ‘manual’ regulation of this market, the presidential spokesman readdressed it to the government.
According to Peskov. this is the prerogative of the Cabinet of Ministers utterly and completely.
