Problems with Russian wheat supplies to Turkey will not affect the normalisation of political ties between the two counties, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"No, it cannot (affect)," he said, answering the corresponding question.
It was earlier reported that Turkey had removed Russian wheat from an import licence scheme.
Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexey Gruzdev, in turn, said that the Turkish authorities did not confirm imposing any restrictions, and promised to look into the matter.
