Kremlin responds to talks about banning niqabs in Russia

The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, responded to recent conversations related to the ban of niqabs in Russia.

The Russian leader's press secretary stressed that the Kremlin was not taking part in these conversations.

Earlier, the Deputy Mufti of Dagestan, Abdulla Salimov, announced a temporary ban on wearing niqabs in the republic until identified threats to society were eliminated.
