Kyrgyzstan’s Defense Minister Abibilla Kudaiberdiyev dismissed

Kyrgyzstan’s President Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree to dismiss Abibila Kudaiberdiyev from the post of defense minister, the press service of the country’s president reported.

The First Deputy Defense Minister, Zamir Suyerkulov, will handle the duties of the country’s defense minister.

The Anti-Corruption Service of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan initiated a criminal case against Kudaiberdiyevon suspicion of abuse of power and embezzlement.
