Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the West led by the US was not coping with its obligations on Syria.
Lavrov stressed that Washington wants to put forward additional conditions before implementing a deal on Syria and that Russia would demand a very thorough investigation into a strike on an aid convoy in Syria.
According to him, the UN Security Council’s urgent session was called on September 25 to distract attention from the bombing near Deir ez-Zor. "The Syrian government and we were accused of all sins and all answers regarding the accusations were given," TASS cited Lavrov as saying.
