An opening of the renovated ‘Russian Room’ will be held at the UN office in Geneva on Tuesday March 1st. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, and the Secretary General of the world organization, Ban Ki-moon, will participate in the ceremony.
Also the sides will discuss the Syrian settlement, the official representative of the Secretary General, Stefan Dyuzharrik, reported. In his words, Ban Ki-moon will arrive in Geneva on Monday and on the same day an opening of the 31st Session of the Human Rights Council will be held.
