Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo will meet in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on May 14.
"The visit and the negotiations will be officially announced on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Please use the official information as referencem" TASS cited her as saying.
Earlier, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the talks between Lavrov and Pompeo are scheduled to take place in Sochi on May 14. The source added that "the parties made the agreement at their meeting in Finland."
