Russia is deeply concerned about attempts in some European countries to turn a blind eye on neo-Nazi tendencies, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a meeting with representatives of Russian non-governmental organizations (NGO).
"We are deeply concerned about the attempts in certain European countries to turn a blind eye on the developing neo-Nazi tendencies, acts of vandalism against monuments and burials of World War II times," TASS cited the minister as saying.
"On the background of the well-known complains about threats to liberal European values, we see the so-called silence of the lambs regarding the state support for regular marches of neo-Nazis in Latvia," Lavrov said.
