Lavrov: we are not planning war with Turkey

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow isn't planning to wage a war against Turkey.

The Minister noted that "the attitude towards the Turkish people has not changed", but Moscow "has questions for the Turkish leadership".

In addition, Sergei Lavrov said that he held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu. "The minister tried to justify the actions of the Air Forces of his country. He was unable to answer the question of whether their actions are coordinated with the United States. The incident looks very much like a planned provocation," RIA Novosti cited Lavrov as saying.
